The Human-Powered Floating Gym!

Have you ever pedaled on a stationary bike at the gym and thought to yourself: ‘What if this energy I am exerting could be used for something better than just making me sweat?” Well now a new proposal from architect Mitchell Joachim promises to take all that energy expended at the gym to the next level, by capturing all that exertion and using it to transport people around the rivers of New York City. The River Gym concept is a human-powered floating gym that will provide the user with the one experience that no other gym can provide: floating your workout around Manhattan. Designed by architect Mitchell Joachim and personal trainer Douglas Joachim, this project could bring inspiration to both the morning commute and workout.

Vortex fountain is not your average piece of water art

Sure, you could get a traditional fountain to go in front of your palatial mansion, but that's what all the other rich guys are doing. You want to be a true original, don't you? If so, take a look at this stunning Vortex Fountain.
The Vortex Fountain looks like a free-standing column of water with a spinning whirlpool in the center, and that's not far from the truth. It's a large acrylic polymer cylinder which allows an air-core vortex to form as water is pumped in a circular motion. It's not cheap to make nor is it cheap to run, as it requires a pretty serious water filtration system. But really, if you're the type of person who would get one of these, you don't care about price.

Politics is a dirty game

Saad Zaghloul, the great Egyptian leader, said once: "The nation is the source of authority." This is mainly what we can call A B C of politics. That great leader led Egypt to achieve its first nominal independence. He was also the engineer of the first Egyptian constitution in 1923. Afterwards, he was elected as the Prime-Minister. Nevertheless, the man had to resign after 9 months because he felt that his authority was withdrawn from him by the corrupt king and the imperialistic forces.

Based on this argument, we can claim that 99% of today’s leaders are politically illiterate if we can oppress illiteracy by adhering that concept to it. Any political system depends on three main factors; its legitimacy, its authority, and finally its sovereignty. In case any factors of these three fails, the system becomes no longer capable of surviving, and it collapses

Scientists recover complete dinosaur skeleton

TOKYO—Japanese and Mongolian scientists have successfully recovered the complete skeleton of a 70-million-year-old young dinosaur, a nature museum announced Thursday.
The scientists uncovered a Tarbosaurus—related to the giant carnivorous Tyrannosaurus—from a chunk of sandstone they dug up in August, 2006 in the Gobi Desert in Mongolia, said Takuji Yokoyama, a spokesman for the Hayashibara Museum of Natural Sciences, a co-organizer of the joint research project.
"We were so lucky to have found remains that turned out to be a complete set of all the important parts," he said.
After two years of careful preparatory work, scientists found that the fossilized skeleton only lacked neck bones and the tip of the tail.
Young dinosaur skeletons are hard to find in good condition
because they often are destroyed by weather decay or because they were torn apart by predators. The latest find would be a major step toward discovering the growth and development of dinosaurs, Yokoyama said.
The fossil, believed to have died at age 5, measured about 6.6 feet long, he said. Adult dinosaurs of the species are believed to have grown up to 40 feet.
The dinosaur, whose gender was unknown, came from a geological layer created about 70 million years ago in the late Cretaceous period.

The Japanese scientists and colleagues from the Center of Paleontology under the Mongolian Academy of Sciences have been jointly conducting dinosaur .
